Hyperliquid is a decentralized exchange (DEX): you trade from your own wallet, not from a traditional exchange account. That makes the setup quite different from the other exchanges — and honestly, more complex.
Our suggestion: use an AI assistant of your preference — such as Claude — to walk you through the configuration personally, at your own pace and on your own time. Share the official guide below with it and ask it to guide you step by step.
The official Hyperliquid documentation for creating and configuring API wallets (their version of API keys) is here: Hyperliquid docs — API wallets.
Why dedicated? Alpha Pro needs a space that only it uses. To keep the strategy working correctly, don't place manual trades or modify positions inside it once it's running.
Funding
Alpha Pro trades from a dedicated space in Hyperliquid. It needs to hold the minimum balance before you connect it — at least $30,000 USDT or USDC for Alpha 1x, or 0.4 BTC or $30,000 USDT or USDC for Alpha 2x. If the funds aren't there, connecting will fail with an "Insufficient Funds" error.
What's next
